Meijer, Inc. owns and operates more than 175 retail supercenters and 160 gas/convenience stations throughout the Midwest. It’s one of the nation’s largest privately held companies, with annual sales topping $13 billion. Creating, distributing and managing point-of-sale materials for an operation of this magnitude is a daunting task. Or at least, it was – until Gilson showed Meijer how we could ease (and speed) the process by managing all the various program elements involved.

We work closely with Meijer’s internal communications department to design signage and other materials for stores. |
We print the majority of Meijer's kit materials, and we procure any elements we don't. Online proofing provides a time-efficient means of ensuring accuracy; our pre-press controls maximize brand and color consistency. |
We fulfill orders by kitting and packing all program elements, and distributing kits directly to all stores monthly. We also inventory individual kit elements for replacement purposes. This is faster and more efficient than the previous method, which shipped kits to Meijer Distribution Centers for truck delivery to stores. |
Department managers used to order materials using bar-code wands and paper binders - a costly and mistake-prone process. MindWire Technology now enables managers to order via the Internet, utilizing real-time information and imagery. This provides online reporting and program tracking capabilities, and virtually eliminates errors and returns. |

Or would you just like to give us your business, no questions asked? We're fine either way.
